Tender description

Tai Pawb, Shelter Cymru and Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru (Back the Bill partnership) wish to conduct research into cost-benefit of the introduction of the Right to Adequate Housing in Wales (RTAH). Whilst the campaign for the RTAH has gained overwhelming support from political parties and stakeholders, we need comprehensive and robust evidence which will help us assess the fiscal and social impact, costs and benefits and practical implications of the introduction of RTAH in Wales. This would include evidence on the impacts and benefits the RTAH would have on other areas of life e.g. health, social care, education, poverty, domestic abuse, criminal justice etc. The research would draw on existing evidence of costs/benefits, as well as assessment of cost/benefit of key policy changes & milestones in the course of realising RTAH, including drawing on international evidence. The research is funded by the Oak Foundation as part of core funding for Tai Pawb and the partnership. For the purposes of this invitation – Tai Pawb is the commissioning organisation acting in partnership with the organisations mentioned above. Please see attached Request for Quotation for further details.
