10055 - Design and installation of replacement boilers and associated mechanical plant at Normandie Tower

NOTE 26JAN2022 - PROJECT HAS NOT BEEN AWARDED AS IS ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The council is conducting an open tender for a single supplier to be responsible for system design, installation and commissioning of replacement oil boilers, controls and associated mechanical plant system which provides heating to the council building at Normandie Tower, Rouen Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1QS. Normandie Tower has a plant room on the roof of the building, and the council needs to upgrade the mechanical plant in an effort to improve efficiency and reliability. The heating and hot water generation will be improved using modulating oil burners, variable speed pumps and a thermal store to reduce heating costs alongside the benefits of a BMS system to improve efficiencies.
