LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Maintenance, Repair, Statutory Examination and Testing This tender document deals with the specification for Maintenance, Repair, Examination and Testing to be carried out for each local exhaust system across the NHS Tayside Estate in accordance with the guidance given in HSG 258 “Controlling airborne contaminants at work – A guide to local exhaust ventilation (LEV)”and Scottish Health Technical Memorandum (SHTM) 02-01, 03-01 and 04-01. This tender also requires the confirmation of compliance with the requirements of the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR), where applicable.
