Tender description
North East Lincolnshire Council (The Authority) is looking for a Provider to deliver resourced, specialist provision for children at risk of exclusion. The Provider shall provide a supportive educational environment for local primary-aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties who are both at risk of exclusion from mainstream education or have already been excluded. For young people with SEMH difficulties that have been excluded, the Provider will help deliver a smooth transition back into mainstream education. The Authority also aims to ensure that children are helped to do this within the local area. Accordingly, children using the service will not be required to travel outside of the borough of North East Lincolnshire and the Provider shall ensure the service is delivered within a primary school/academy site within North East Lincolnshire. The children referred to this provision will be of primary school age, which is from Reception to Year 6 inclusive. RSP is to provide a supportive educational environment for local primary-aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties who are both at risk of exclusion from mainstream education or have already been excluded. The provider of the RSP shall ensure there are ten (10) core funded full time equivalent places available for the duration of the contract. Children using the service will not be required to travel outside of the borough of North East Lincolnshire and the Provider shall ensure the service is delivered within a primary school/academy site within North East Lincolnshire. Additional information: The requirement is for a sole provider to ensure consistency of service provision, therefore the opportunity has not been lotted. The estimated value in II.7 is calculated using the budget cap per Learner per academic year ((£18,000 x 10) + £23,500 per year) x 5 years.
