Specified project outputs: One: • Discovery/Analyst • Implementation: on-boarding remote team • Go-live Two: • 12-month contract with Critical Support Cover Latest start date Monday 20 September 2021 Why the Work is Being Done Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust ‘MSE Trust’ is seeking to engage with suppliers to procure the services of a professional services company, with specific expertise in providing technical resources to support Azure infrastructure. Problem to Be Solved The Trust’s Digital Services department is currently in the middle of a significant transformation programme across its entire estate with numerous technology and system project workstreams covering from datacentre (hosting and systems migration) through data networks (WAN and LAN) to end points (Windows 10, N365 etc.) There are over 300 clinical and corporate systems in use across the Trust which are currently in the midst of systems migration programme onto new technologies hosted within Azure and on-premise. Who Are the Users The trust requires an Azure Managed Service based on a 12-month contract with Critical Support Cover. Part One: • Discovery/Analyst • Implementation: on-boarding remote team • Go-live Part Two: • 12-month contract with Critical Support Cover Existing Team MSE's Digital Services team and potentially other MSE staff groups Current Phase Not applicable Skills & Experience • Explain your process for ensuring the technical resources you provide have the required skillsets to meet or exceed the requirements or outputs set out by customers. • How would you propose to integrate your support teams with the on-site teams? • How quickly can you mobilise and provide resources to meet our technical project requirements specified? • Explain how you can ensure continuity of service in the event of sickness or loss of resources. • How will you support the ongoing management of this contract to ensure effective delivery? • Evidence your experience of working within challenging NHS environments. • How would you ensure knowledge transfer of support methodologies to Trust staff and BAU teams? Lessons learnt and how these lead to continuous service improvement. • Please detail three contactable clients (including scope) to whom you have successfully delivered similar scope of work to over the past four year. References should not be from MSE • How unexpected costs be managed within the contract? Including identification/mitigation/escalation. Provide example of your approach to risk share for unforeseen-cost, how you’ll manage these within the constraints of the contract. • Explain your understanding of the MSE environment, how do you think you can add value based on your prior experiences working within similar environments that are undergoing significant transformational change. • Please confirm if your company/organisation currently holds the following: ISO 270001:2013 ISO 20000 • Microsoft-related Accreditations Azure Specialist for Tech-Partners (ISVs) Windows Virtual Desktop Advanced Specialisation Gold Microsoft Partner (including: Cloud Platform, Cloud Productivity and Small/Midmarket Cloud Solutions) Azure Expert MSP Work Location Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford CM1 7ET Southend Hospital, SS0 0RY Basildon Hospital, SS16 5NL Some remote/virtual working Working Arrangments Team will be based both at MSE sites & potentially remotely.   We require a resourced managed team, for clarity, we mean the following: 1. That the team is provided as single package. 2. The allocation / recruitment of resources that make-up the team is the responsibility of the supplier. 3. Task management and project outputs of the team will be specified by the MSE appointed Project Manager.
