The Supply & Delivery of Various Waste & Recycling Sacks

Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon currently provide householders with sacks to recycle a range of materials including, dry-mixed recycling, textiles and food waste. The street cleansing services also utilise a range of sacks through day to day activities. LBH wished to appoint a contractor to provide sacks for use with its household recycling, commercial waste and street cleansing services. As part of this procurement, the London Borough of Hillingdon wished to consider the benefit of cost versus environmental impact and therefore invited tenders on a 'Lot basis'. Bidders were invited to submit a bid for one or both of the following: (a) Lot 1 – Virgin or pre-consumer recycled material for polythene sacks (b) Lot 2 – Post consumer recycled material for polythene sacks LBH intended to award a two plus two plus one (2+2+1) year contract starting in June 2021.
