Term Building Repairs & Maintenance Contract for Mary Immaculate College Limerick

Tender description

The purpose of this Tender competition is to procure a Building Contractor to enter into a term maintenance contract for buildings repair and maintenance services, and undertaking of minor works to modify or refurbish spaces. The service will include • General Reactive repairs and maintenance • Emergency Call out repairs and maintenance • Scheduled Minor Works Projects such as joinery installations, room partitioning, space refurbishment or modification, etc., (typically < €50k in total value) including co-ordination with other term maintenance contractors (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Flooring) on these minor projects. • Acting as PSCS as required • Co-ordination with 3rd party contractors who will undertake larger works projects (typically > €50k in value). The proposed works shall be delivered through PW-CF11 Term Maintenance and Refurbishment Public Works Contract. The Buildings Repair & Maintenance Term Maintenance Contract will include maintenance (and testing as required) of, and modifications to, the following systems & elements: • Building Envelopes • Building Finishes Internal and external • Partitions & Ceilings • Joinery • Fittings & fixtures • Site Structures, Boundaries, & fittings • Car parks, roads & paving • Site Drainage • Signage The above list non-exhaustive; the contract may include incidental or occasional repairs or works to any element of MIC’s campuses at South Circular Road, Limerick City and St. Patrick's campus, Thurles. All work will be under the control of MIC Director of Estates and Sustainability. MIC cannot guarantee the value of works to be required in any one year. However, work up to a value of €250,000 may be required in one financial year.
