Tender description

An easily reconfigurable SMA fibre coupled spectrophotometer/spectroradiometer array setup is required for several measurement types: 1. Total hemispherical transmittance (280-1000nm) of film samples under substantially solar-spectrum illumination 2. Transmission electron microscope cathodoluminescence (300-1000nm) (SMA fibre connection to our existing cathodoluminescence TEM sample holder) 3. Spectral irradiance (200-400nm) of germicidal UV-C lamps The spectrometers will be used mostly by Chemical Engineering and materials research teams within the Institute of Materials and Manufacturing and Wolfson Centre for Sustainable Materials Development and Processing. The spectrometer setup will be used across a number of laboratories and on the SEM and TEM at the Experimental Techniques Centre of BUL. The Centre, UKAS accredited, is staffed by a highly skilled team with expertise in the sciences, engineering and environmental investigations.
