Tender description
London Luton Airport (LLA) is seeking to establish a contract(s) for the provision of sustainability consultancy services, which has been split into four Lots; 1) Strategy and Reporting; 2) Climate Change and Air Quality; 3) Energy Efficiency and Renewables; and 4) Community and Supply Chain. This framework of agreements will be for a duration of five years with the option to extend twice, each for one additional year (5+1+1 years total) and each agreement will be a zero-value contract. Spend on this framework will be capped at £2.5 million across all lots and the whole contract duration (including extensions), subject to demand. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Strategy and reporting This lot is to cover consultancy support to elevate our Sustainability strategy and reporting to the next level. We have built strong foundations around sustainability delivery and are now ready to create an ambitious strategy to realise the ambition to become champions in sustainable aviation. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Climate change and air quality We are committed to reducing our impact on climate change and local air quality. We are seeking a consultancy partner to develop an ambitious carbon reduction strategy to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 or sooner. Alongside this, we are also seeking consultancy expertise to develop our air quality strategy that identifies actions to mitigate our contribution to local air quality. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Energy efficiency and renewables LLA is committed to continuously improving energy management at the airport. Through a combination of reviewing existing plant and equipment to reduce our energy consumption, and in parallel to the installation of renewable technology, to start generating our own energy. Ultimately reducing our carbon emissions as we move towards Net Zero. Lot 4: Lot 4- Community and supply chain Development of strategic programmes that will contribute to the wider economic and social recovery of local communities in which the airport operates with a key aim, maximizing the value of community investment and leveraging stakeholder engagement for greater positive impact.
