** Please note this is not a call for competition, This is a PIN notice for a Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy requirement** HTG Randomised Encouragement Design Evaluation project. BEIS is procuring a number of evaluation projects to support the recently announced programmes worth £500m- Help to Grow: Digital and Help to Grow: Management, which aim to boost firm-level productivity. Help to Grow: Digital and recently launched Help to Grow: Management present an opportunity to measure impact using a Randomised Encouragement Design (RED) approach. Running across both programmes, this project aims to (1) design an RED protocol (2) run an RED pilot and (3) implement and run the protocol across the lifetime of the programme. The RED should consider programme delivery and existing communications strategies, and provide insights on how best to run a trial at this scale over the lifetime of the programme. This project will run alongside the process and quasi-experimental evaluations and provide key insights in running a trial at mass scale. The supplier event will give an overview of the programmes and requirements, and a Q+A session where suppliers can share their thoughts and suggestions on the project. We would like to invite prospective bidders to attend a pre-market engagement session on Wednesday, 18th August 2021 10:00 - 10:45 via MS Teams. The agenda for the day is as follows: • Introductions, • Overview of the requirement, • Evaluation expectations,• Procurement overview, • Discussion / Q&A Note that the route to market will be via CCS Research Marketplace DPS (RM6018) (www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM6018) and to bid for this work the lead contractor will have to be registered on the CCS Research Marketplace DPS (RM6018) prior to the requirement being launched.
