For the Provision of Hazardous Waste Removal Services

Oldham Council is looking to procure a hazardous waste contractor to carry out the following activities: • Regular collections of hazardous waste from Moorhey Street Depot (one of the Council’s main operational depot bases in the borough). • As part of regular visits to Moorhey Street, attendance at other sites across the borough to remove hazardous waste dependant on need. • Ad hoc collections of hazardous waste, which may also include identification and removal of suspected hazardous waste on-site, which cannot be incorporated with regular visits to Moorhey Street. • Response times for all waste collections should be within 5 days from date of order • 24-hour emergency response service which require immediate removal. • Provide hazardous waste boxes from Council buildings (to be collected on an annual basis) • Provide quarterly and annual reports on the type, amount and weight (where appropriate) and disposal costs of any hazardous waste collected. • Produce on behalf of the Council’s all hazardous waste consignment notes and provide a copy on a per visit (collection) basis. • Retain a record of all collections from Oldham Council for a minimum of three years after the original collection date, Keywords: waste, hazardous
