External Planned Works

Tender description

A suitable contractor is required for the provision of programmed external planned works to the Councils properties. The works are to be carried out as specified in the technical specifications. The works shall be undertaken over a 3 year term with the project estimated to start August 2021. The scope of works may include: • Renewal of fascias, cladding and rainwater goods; • Repointing, re-rendering and other structural works; • Renewal of communal entrance doors; • Works to achieve "Decent Homes Standard"; • Works to achieve "Secure by Design" • Upgrading of external communal areas; • Renewal of fencing; • Renewal and/or upgrading of roads, paving and other hard surfacing; • Cyclical Redecoration and pre-decoration repairs; • Cleaning of external elements: cladding, rainwater goods, soffits, fascias, windows, doors. • General tidying up of external areas; • Other planned Maintenance Works • Providing reports or Structural Surveys and remedies.
