Summary of the work The DWP are looking to engage with a supplier to provide ServiceNow Natural Language Understanding Business Analyst specialist to work with DWP resources, to deliver a Virtual Agent Chatbot using ServiceNow Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Wednesday 15 September 2021 Maximum Day Rate Maximum day rate available is £650inc VAT Who Speclialist Work With The existing team is augmented with a mix of Civil Servants and other 3rd party supplier resource. What Specialists Work On The DWP are looking to engage with a supplier to provide ServiceNow Natural Language Understanding Business Analyst specialist to work with DWP resources, to deliver a Virtual Agent Chatbot using ServiceNow Natural Language Understanding (NLU) The specialist will need to be highly experienced with the ServiceNow product and the implementation of Virtual agent and Natural Language Understand models, able to deal with the day to day development and design of features and applications within the platform and contribute towards the design of the DWP programme milestones. They must uphold the values of the DWP and work within Government Digital Standards. Skills & Experience • good understanding of strategic arenas and leads large and complex projects. Can contribute to the creation and maintenance of the target operating model and identify the impact on operational service • Innovation. You can lead others to innovate in their work as well as enabling them to innovate on their own. • Requirements definition and management. You know how to lead on requirements analysis and take responsibility for the investigation and implementation of changes to programme scope. • You can influence stakeholders and manage relationships effectively, communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders • User focus. You know how to collaborate with user researchers and can represent users internally. You understand the difference between user needs and the desires of the user • . You can champion user research to focus on all users. You can prioritise and define approaches to understand the user story, guiding others in doing so. • ServiceNow - Service Experience in the implementation of a virtual agent and the natural language understand module. Nice to Haves • Desirable: Agile Team Development • Demonstrate experience of working on virtual agent models and natural language understand modules. • Demonstrate experience of working on large scale organisation and/or Government or Public Sector installations of ServiceNow Work Location The supplier will normally be required to work from DWP offices Blackpool and/or Manchester City Centre but until COVID restrictions are lifted, the supplier will be required to work from home with occasion visits to the DWP office Working Arrangments Working in a team of ServiceNow developers making sure services are enhanced and new services delivered as desired and to the required standards. The team will also work with and support third parties and other internal teams to support and develop integration and automation between ServiceNow and other products. Security Clearance The supplier will be required to hold BPSS security clearance as a minimum.
