Arts Council NI (ACNI) is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a Supplier to re-develop, support and maintain the www.artscouncil-ni.org website, including a new client grant portal. ACNI currently has one website, www.artscouncil-ni.org, developed in 2011 by a consultant-led web-design company. In 2018 ACNI’s website was migrated from ACNI servers to IT Assist as a host. The website operates on legacy software which is impacting detrimentally on the stability and the functionality of the website: Expressionengine 2.5; PHP 5.5; Site is dependent on defunct add-ons. The current site lacks a customised client portal for new and existing clients seeking to access funding applications from ACNI online. It is intended that the www.artscouncil-ni.org website will be fully re-developed, with the new site to incorporate a client grant portal. The potential scale and scope of this service is such that it offers a significant opportunity to bidders. Prior to initiating the procurement, ACNI wishes to establish the level of market interest in participating in the procurement process.
