Fares & Ticketing Strategy – 6 months strategy development work, with key outputs contributing to, and running in parallel with, BFP work. Ongoing refinement of strategy as BFP and other ticketing products are delivered over the next 4 years. Support for the implementation of identified schemes. ENCTS - ongoing support throughout the life of the contract to fulfil CC statutory administration and reporting requirements. No specific milestones outside the annual scheme declarations and operator negotiations. BFP – initial focus on establishing the governance, scheme development, fares modelling, technical installations on bus, negotiation with operators and delivery of Phase 1 ‘Recovery’ due to commence Sep 2021, subject to the easing of lockdown measures and the end of social distancing. Supplier will be required to progress the BFP to Phase 2 ‘Growth’ (predicted to commence 6-12mths later depending on scheme performance) and continue to assist the delivery, administration and reporting for the remaining 3 years of the project. Running parallel to this, the governance framework around the BFP requires it to be established under the mechanism of an Enhanced Partnership. A formal declaration of our intention is required in Jun 2021, followed by a Bus Service Improvement Plan to be submitted to DfT in Oct 2021 and the formal commencement of an Enhanced Partnership (through which to govern the BSIP) in Apr 2022.
