Tender description

To make available 4 specialist retail advisors to support where required, any/all retail businesses across Rotherham, who will work out in the boroughs high streets and District Centres to provide the following key pieces of activity: • Physically visiting businesses and advising on how they can build resilience and adaptability to their business in the context of the economic impact of Covid. • Visiting business premises and advising business owners and employees of how to safely open and operate effectively within the guidelines, providing a friendly face, introducing businesses to all the resources available. All allowing the business to feel confident that their actions in the business are safe and allow for a safe experience of the customer and over all reducing the possibility of allowing Covid to spread. • Advise the businesses directly on areas they need support ensuring the awareness and use of available resources to allow them to survive, adapt and grow, whilst encouraging businesses and customers also to follow all safety guidelines, to socially distance and overall to operate safely. • Advice will be provided for any/every business in identified high street and retail areas of the borough. • Collation and management of respective information and data. Business intelligence from the retail and hospitality sector will play a crucial role informing future strategies that the Council are developing to improve the local high street offer from a physical building sense and business support activity.
