Tender description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (The Council) invite tenders for the design (directional content and narratives), manufacture, supply and erection of signage across a number of identified Omagh Parks and Linear Parks (Riverside Walks) and one heritage site in Enniskillen. Omagh benefits from extensive riverfront lands through the town centre, with the Camowen and Drumragh Rivers merging to form the Strule which flows through the town centre. There has been an opportunity for the river to develop as a corridor of activity, a home to recreation and leisure. A network of riverside walkways and cycle tracks have been developed and the proposal for improved navigational signage, way markers and lecterns will help link and improve the movement of people to and from the Omagh town centre, an urban garden (located at the Strule Arts Centre), Arleston Park, Grange Park and St Julian’s Park and to connect to other parts of the riverside walk:
