Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new food grade powder blending and packaging plant

Tender description

Kilfera Food Manufacturers are seeking proposals from suitably qualified companies, for inclusion in the tender for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new powder blending and packaging system. The main components of the process are: I. 1 x cocoa mass reductor. II. 1 x cocoa mass nibbler. The nibbler must be supplied with a 4mm and a 5mm screen. The reductor/nibbler must have a combined capacity of 2 tonnes per hour. III. 1 x 1.5 tonne capacity batch bin. IV. 1 x 3,000 litre capacity blender. V. 1 x sieve to be supplied with a 4 mm and a 5 mm screen. The sieve must be able to process/scalp 10 tonnes of powder per hour. VI. 1 x Inline metal detector VII. 1 x Bulk bag filler with weight control capable of filling bags with a weight range of 500 kgs to 1,250 kgs. VIII. 1 x 25 kg filling line with weight control, stretching and heat sealing. This must have a minimum capacity of 2 tonnes per hour. IX. I X 25 kg bag flattener with a capacity of 2 tonnes per hour. X. 1 x 25 kg bag metal detector. XI. I x automatic palletiser. This must have a minimum capacity of 2 tonnes per hour. XII. 1 x conveying system for transporting reducted/nibbled cocoa mass from the reductor/nibbler to the blender @ 2 tonnes per hour. XIII. 1 x Conveying system to transport powders from the Batch bin to the Blender @ 12 tonnes per hour. XIV. 1 x Conveying system to transport powders from the Blender to the Sieve complete with a valve system to control powder flow to the sieve @ 10 tonnes per hour. (Note: it may be necessary that this conveyor will need to have the ability to transfer powder vertically.) XV. Conveying from the Sieve to the Bulk filler and to the 25 kg Filling line will be by gravity. XVI. 1 x dust collection system for capturing dust from the Blender, Packaging equipment, Nibbler and Reductor. The entire plant must fit into an area 8 meters X 5 Meters x 8 meters high.
