Invasive Weed Treatment and Pathway Repairs

Tender description

Two unrelated separate orders (One order for essential H&S culvert path repairs for £4371.00 and another separate order for £2999.72 for Invasive Weed treatment - which if not treated is in breach of schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.) The site is a SSSI protected site (with an agreed management plan agreed by Natural England) with this supplier agreed by Natural England. The work on the invasive weed species is needed to be done now (in the next two weeks) before the plant is able to reseed as it is an offence to allow it to grow in the wild. The work on the culvert also has to happen between now and beginning of September due to weather conditions and site access (all agreed by Natural England). The same supplier is needed to be used as agreed by Natural England, funding has come from Natural England to complete this work (Environmental Stewardship Grant).
