Award of Recruitment Services for Procurement Resources

Tender description

The Authority is seeking to appoint a single Contractor to work in partnership and support the Authority`s Procurement Department with their recruitment services. In particular the Authority requires support in securing fixed term and day rate resources to enable the delivery of a specific project within SPA Forensic Services and other ad-hoc requirements. The additional procurement resource will be required to concentrate on procuring the required specialist equipment and all other lab requirements relevant to the project. This will include but not be limited to the procurement of all infrastructure requirements, all ICT hardware and software, including telecoms and network equipment. Other lab requirements to be procured include generators, hydrogen tanks, safety cabinets, cylinders and benches etc. for lab fit out. These requirements will result in significant procurement activity. This project has a tight timeline and the procurement activity will need to be progressed within a defined procurement timeline, ensuring that we factor in all requirements and dependencies with other project work streams. The initial requirement is for; • 2 x Procurement Specialist which will be employed on a day rate basis • 1 x Procurement Officers which will be appointed on a fixed term basis. • 2 x Procurement Assistant which will be appointed on a fixed term basis
