Rewire Work at Blocks 10 & 11 Glangwili Hospital

Hywel Dda University Local Health Board has a requirement for Rewire works at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen. Proposed works, work to include: The works comprise the provision of a new main distribution panel board, installation of new sub-main cables and consumer units and the re-wire of electrical services in Blocks 10 and 11 at Glangwili Hospital. The block incorporates ground floor offices, residential bedsits on the first, second and third floors. Also provided are toilet and shower facilities and communal kitchens. The general electrical installation has surpassed its economic life and shall be replaced. The electrical refurbishment is to include renewal of the electrical distribution panel, sub main supplies to SP+N mcb consumer on the floors, and the installation of sub-circuits to lighting and power outlets. The Electrical Works shall generally consist of the following services: • Removal of Redundant Services • LV Main Distribution • LV Sub-main Distribution • Lighting and power Sub-circuitry • Lighting, Emergency Lighting Fittings and Control • Small Power socket outlets and kitchen supplies • • Cable containment systems Conduit, Trunking and Dado Trunking • • ICT Modifications and installations • • Testing & Commissioning of the New Installations
