Uplands Development - Provision of Planning Advisory Services in Connection with Utility Diversions

Tender description

On the site of a proposed new housing development at Uplands, near Botley, Hampshire, existing high voltage above ground cabling mounted on pylons, belonging to utility provider SSE, is required to be rerouted and new replacement cabling installed below ground. This is a very specialist area of planning and valuation services. Gately Hamer were originally appointed through Arup on the HCA framework, however this framework has expired and HCC required the balance of the services to be completed via a direct appointment. The services to be provided by Gately Hamer consist of bringing to conclusion various agreements between the parties involved. It is not feasible to tender this award to other suppliers who would be disadvantaged by lacking the background knowledge to complete the service required.
