Tender description
ESB has identified the requirement for training across the following fields: energy markets, analytics, energy trading and energy regulation. These requirements are to be provided at ESB locations in Dublin and online. Training courses should provide a general overview of the GB energy markets (gas, power, carbon), providing insights on risk management and the outlook for the market. Training courses will examine the gas and electricity market in Ireland at present and it will also explore potential issues facing the market in the future. Regulation training courses to provide detail on REMIT, EMIR, MiFiD II and MAR. Practical training courses that will allow for use of the I-SEM and GB market simulation tools. Learning and practical training courses that will examine the hedging strategy and operation of a power plant. Training courses required to look at GB and I-SEM subsidised and non-subsidised renewable energy including contract arrangements and the outlook for the sector.
