Smartply are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Building /Mechanical / Electrical Contracts for inclusion in the installation of a Motor Control Centre (MCC) & Switch room Ventilation System Tender. The ideal scenario would be to have one company responsible for managing the all the aspects of the project including building works. The Current Ventilation system we have in our MCC’s is below the required standard and each year we have seen critical failure to the lack of proper air circulation and dust accumulation. Smartply are investing in High Performance (non-vision) ventilation Louvres with casement surround, mounted on mullions fixed to structure with adjustable cleats. Blade pitch: 50mm. This will ensure proper ventilation and at the same time eliminate water egress. During this project control panels, lighting will need to be moved and in other cases upgraded and it’s critical that the contractor understands that the successful candidate will be responsible for the role as PSCS as a building contractor, mechanical and electrical contracts will be involved in the full execution of this project.
