Dundonal International Ice Bowl New Build and Associated Works - Main Contractor Package

Tender description

The project is for the construction of the Dundonald International Ice Bowl new build and associated landscaping works, as well as the demolition of existing Dundonald International Ice Bowl. Lot 1: The current proposal is to redevelop the Dundonald International Ice Bowl by demolishing the existing building and delivering a new state-of-the-art facility which will promote excellence in leisure, health and well-being, tourism and sustainable development. The proposal will incorporate a range of facilities including: • A new ice rink with spectator seating; • Ten pin bowling facility • Children’s soft play and adventure play, • Party Rooms • Gymnasium; • Cafe and Coffee shop; • Healthcare centre including a pharmacy; • Multi use Community rooms; • Offices and general support accommodation; • Parkland with Adventure and Community Play Total area within red line boundary 14.164 Ha of which approximately: - Roads and Carparks / Service yard: 18,500m2 (1.85 Ha) - Pavements/ hard landscape 12,200m2 (1.22 ha) - Softworks 33,250m2 (3.325 Ha) The current proposal consists of - Phase 1 demolition of 10 lanes of existing Dundonald International Ice Bowl and initial site/ ground works - Phase 2 construction of new Dundonald International Ice Bowl building and associated landscaping. - Phase 3 demolition of existing Dundonald International Ice Bowl and remaining landscaping works.
