<p>Miner2Major is a Landscape Partnership scheme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, celebrating the important habitats, special species and rich heritage of Sherwood Forest.</p> <p>The scheme area, outlined in green on the attached map, covers a region from the northern edge of Nottingham at Bestwood Park to Edwinstowe and Ollerton. Delivery will take place with groups in and surrounding this area.</p> <p>Nottinghamshire County Council is the lead partner and accountable body and will be the commissioning organisation.</p> <p>Further details can be found on the Scheme website:<a href="http://www.miner2major.org.uk">www.miner2major.org.uk</a></p> <p>An important part of the delivery of Miner2Major is engagement with local communities.
