Procurement of injection mould tooling

Aluminium Tool for Injection Mould Tooling specification: 2 Imp Aluminium Hot runner tool. 6 drop hot runner tool. I suggest we would need to inject on the seen surface in the middle of the U channel as the part will tend to stick to the ribbed side. We may need to have cold sprues that we will need cut off due to the diameter of the hot runner drops. Please include a mould flow as all the rib form needs to be full and the product needs to be flat and straight. Ejection on the ribbed half. Additional ejection positions may need to be added for venting purposes Approximate Tool Sizes 2000 x 750 (with 900 back plates) x 700 mould height Both quotes to include: 1/ All delivery and collections of the tooling to and from the moulding company should there be any issues 2/ DME N9 water fittings and Harting Plugs 3/ 250 mm diameter location rings both halves 4/ Conventional machine ejection, M24 ejection connection flush with the Back Plate 5/ Sindanyo thermal insulation sheet on the fixed half of the tool The supplier will be required to confirm an Expression of Interest and enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement and will then be provided with a CAD drawing file (.x-t or .eprt) to price against. A week will be allowed for the completed tender sum to be returned after acceptance of the EOI.
