Postmans Walk Refurbishments - Keighley

<p>The Postman's Walk project is essentially refurbishment of an existing and neglected area of public space near to the town center of Keighley and sits adjacent to the Royal Mail sorting office, hence the name "Postmans Walk". The area of land is approximately 1200m2 in total and is situated close to North Beck. The site has good access via sloping ramp via Beck Road. See <a title="Location Plan" href="../../spun.united.starts">///spun.united.starts</a> what three words location.</p> <p>The work can be broken down into the following categories:</p> <ul> <li>Site Clearance, shrub planting, paving, planters</li> <li>Installation of steps, surfacing, resin bonded surface</li> <li>Install of street furniture, seating, bins, railings</li> <li>Softworks including wildflower and grass seeding, bulb planting</li> </ul> <p>There is no maintenance required at practical completion of the project. We are looking to appoint the project with an aim to a reasonably quick start but appreciate lead in times for equipment and materials. Following suitable expressions of interest we aim to begin a formal tender process which will run for approximately 2-3wk.
