NSSR Market Engagement - Event Advertisement

Tender description

This is a notice to advertise the upcoming market engagement event for the National Security Science and Research team within the Department for Transport. The event is to present to the market what the Department for Transport's NSSR team is working on, brief description into what works have been done so far, what the indicative plans are moving forward and at a high level - describing how we would need support in meeting our goals from industry. The event will cover background to the team and then go into the respective themes. These themes include: • Behavioural Science. • Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems. • Systems and Analysis • Bulk Detection (X-ray and non-contact screening) • Vulnerability assessment • Design of experiments/statistical support and • Programme management services in benefits realisation and communications.  After the themes have been presented, we will keep the chat bar open and capture any questions which we will endeavour to allocate some time to, at the end of the session - to try and answer. We would request all suppliers to keep their mics on mute and be conscious of mics being on whilst the event is being delivered. Continued disruption (intentional or not) may lead to you being ejected from the event for the benefit of other viewers. The event will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to attend the first time. All questions and answers will also be captured to ensure full transparency with potential providers who may miss the live broadcast. To note, this is not a commitment or confirmation of any procurement activity. This is purely an event to share information with the market as well as gaining some insight and feedback to help the DfT in their information gathering for future direction.
