Tender description

Kirklees Council has a statutory requirement under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (and any subsequent amendment) to collect and kennel any stray dogs found and/or reported within the boundary of Kirklees for a minimum of seven (7) clear calendar days. Tenders were invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of a Stray Dog Collection and Kennelling Service. Lot 1: Tenders were invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of a Stray Dog Collection and Kennelling Service. The primary scope of the service provision is to provide a complete service of collecting and kennelling stray dogs from start to end. The Contract period shall be from an initial period of three (3) years with the provision to extend further for three (3) increments of twelve (12) month periods.
