Ilford Western Gateway - Land Assembly The Ilford Western Gateway is the most significant opportunity for transforming the arrival experience into Ilford and integrating this fragmented, car dominated part of the town centre with the rest of Ilford. A Spatial Framework for the Western Gateway was commissioned in 2020. This outlines the vision and priorities for growth and the overall spatial strategy for the identified sites/area. The Spatial Framework was reported to and approved by Cabinet on 11th February 2021, who also endorsed the Delivery Strategy which is to enter into a procurement for a Joint Venture Delivery Partner. The Council has considerable land and property interests within the Western Gateway but in order to deliver a comprehensive regeneration of the area it is necessary to bring forward all sites in a coherent manor. To achieve this the Council needs to finalise the Land Referencing exercise, which has commenced, by experienced Land Referencing Professionals and then needs to be supported by valuations undertaken by RICS qualified Surveyors to inform negotiations designed to acquire necessary land and property interests through private treaty. Please see specification and attached documents for more information. Please note, payment for this contract is based entirely on completion of milestones. For each milestone you complete, you will need to submit a service receipt and then payment will be released.
