Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council wish to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the Installation and Removal of Festive Lighting as per the following Lots: Tenderers can apply for all or some of the Lots. Marks awarded in Methodology Section will carry forward to each Lot 1-4 being applied for. A separate methodology is required if applying for lot 5. These methodologies MUST be clearly identified and submitted in separate envelopes. Please note that council reserve the right to install all or parts of these schemes. This being the case the associated Lots will be remeasured and the installation, and removal costs will be adjusted to reflect this. Installations must be collected and returned to either Skeoge Depot, Skeoge Industrial Park, Derry or to the stores area at the Council Offices, Derry Road, Strabane. Lot 1 Installation and mounting of motifs, street crossings in Derry City. Lot 2 Installation and mounting of motifs and street crossings in Strabane and Castlederg. Lot 3 Installation and mounting of motifs and dressing of Christmas trees in Derry district villages. Lot 4 Installation and mounting of 3D features, motifs and dressing of Christmas trees in Strabane district villages. Lot 5 Installation, maintenance and removal of all sky nets, Boa’s, Festoon, zig zag looms and blizzards in Derry City and Strabane. Please refer to CfT Document for further detail
