Supply of Flask Spares Components (Seals, O Rings, Gaskets and Precision Machined Items, Paint) to the specified quality levels in order to maintain the safe transportation of fuel flasks between internal and external destinations. Lot 1: Seals, ‘O’ Rings and Gaskets Supply of Flask Spares Components (Seals, O Rings, Gaskets and Precision Machined Items, Paint) to the specified quality levels in order to maintain the safe transportation of fuel flasks between internal and external destinations. Additional information: To be manufactures to SL specifications and drawings and comply with the requirements of SLM 4.06.02 CQR Manual. No part of the work shall be repaired, or spoilt work corrected without the prior written approval of Sellafield Ltd. The request for Sellafield Ltd approval shall state how the Flask Spare will be reworked and controlled e.g. approved Quality Plan or other agreed quality record. Lot 2: Precision Machined Items Supply of Flask Spares Components (Seals, O Rings, Gaskets and Precision Machined Items, Paint) to the specified quality levels in order to maintain the safe transportation of fuel flasks between internal and external destinations. Additional information: Any machining supplier must meet all specification requirements to tolerance and dimensional report requirements. Sellafield Quality Dept will work closely with any new supplier to develop supplier capability in relation to flask spares. The supplier must be quality assessed and meet the requirements of very high-risk components (QG01 as per SLM 4.06.02 Contract Quality Requirements Manual). Lot 3: Screws and Bolts Supply of Flask Spares Components (Seals, O Rings, Gaskets and Precision Machined Items, Paint) to the specified quality levels in order to maintain the safe transportation of fuel flasks between internal and external destinations. Additional information: To be manufactures to Sellafield specifications and drawings and shall comply with the requirements of SLM 4.06.02 CQR Manual. Additional information: Paints must be supplied to Sellafield Ltd specifications for flasks. Flask surfaces are painted with an epoxy-based paint and there is a seal made of viton. Steel (~99.9%), Viton (<0.01%) and epoxy-based paint (~0.1%).
