Provision of Research and Development of a Digital Skills Directory and Career Planning Tool.

<p>Barnsley Council&rsquo;s Employment and Skills Service have secured a European Social Fund grant for a digital skills project which will operate across South Yorkshire until December 2023. The Council and its partners are coming together to deliver digital skills from introductory level to level 7 and above. A significant amount of open source provision is now available in the market to support personal training and development of digital skills and competencies. We are keen to collate and where appropriate build on these resources to enable people to access those materials and to give a clear progression pathway into or within a job/career. Our overarching objectives are to ensure that the workforce develop their digital skills and competencies to make their working day easier. This commission will support the project to identify the training routes which enable individuals to improve their productivity We are seeking to procure specialist support or consultancy to research and develop a digital skills directory and career planning tool which will be hosted on our employment and skills web hub.
