WSCC F&G Palatine SEN Expansion

Tender description

West Sussex County Council requires a contractor to construct a new SEN 4 classroom block at Palatine Primary School, Palatine Road, Worthing, BN12 6JP The works comprise the construction of a new standalone SEN classroom block, including external works. To achieve this a section of the school grounds, which is currently not in use, will be cleared of all shrubs and vegetation. The accommodation will include; - 4nr PMLD classrooms - 3nr hygiene rooms - Kitchenette - 2nr group rooms - WCs - laundry room - cleaner's store - plant room The corridors will be wide enough to allow for wheelchairs and other forms of mobility aids to be manoeuvred and stored. The classrooms and hygiene rooms will be connected by a motorised hoist system.
