University of Edinburgh Purchase of 130hp Tractor

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a supplier to supply the following: One 130hp Agricultural tractor and associated bucket loader. This tractor will give better protection to the operator from whole body vibration as it is equipped with a suspension cab and air suspended seat. Other update features include better visibility from the cab and additional security features such as trackers and immobilisers. The University of Edinburgh’s Landscape services team carry out a range of cyclical grounds maintenance operations across a number of its campuses comprising over 300 acres. During the winter months a range of vehicles are used to provide a gritting and snow clearance service to the University Estate. Landscape Services currently owns two 130HP tractors ( John Deere 6330 Premiums) which are the main work horses of the service. It is planned to replace one of these tractors via a purchase and trade in. The new tractor and all associated implements described below must be on site by the end 2021.
