Residential Care – Cost of Care Analysis

<p>LCC wishes to appoint a supplier to undertake analysis of the cost of care in the local residential care market, prior to the implementation of new fees in April 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The cost of care analysis required will be specific to Leicestershire.&nbsp; A &lsquo;generic&rsquo; or national sector pricing model is not considered to be sufficient to achieve a genuine understanding of what constitutes a local<em> </em>sustainable price, specific to the local market.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Council wishes to establish a local <strong><em>sustainable fee structure</em></strong>, i.e. a price that allows the market to deliver care of the required standard, comply with legal requirements and receive a reasonable return so that their business can remain sustainable, and that care remains stable for people using the services.</p> Keywords: care, residential, consultancy, fee
