Tender description

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) is a division of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform and is tasked with delivering the Government’s Public Service ICT Strategy. The OGCIO has a wide-ranging remit in addition to delivery of the Government Public Service ICT Strategy the OGCIO is also responsible for providing ICT Services to a number of Government Departments, the private Government Network, Public Service ICT policy, approval of major ICT expenditure across the wider civil and public service, and engaging with the EU on its eGovernment Action Plan. The Public Service ICT Strategy includes the Build to Share (BTS) Applications Initiative. As part of the suite of the applications the OGCIO utilise LOTUS DOMINO as part of the software system used for managing Parliamentary Questions.
