Tender description

To enable Wirral Council to comply with the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, we would like to invite Suppliers of Ophthalmic Opticians registered with the General Optical Council to quote for the delivery of a eye care scheme to provide eye examinations on their premises and supply corrective lenses to our staff where required for use with display screen equipment. There may also be ad hoc requests for the provision of prescription safety eyewear to meet BS EN166. The contract spec is extended to national coverage to account for home working and better accessibility for staff
