Supply of Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings

Tender description

This framework is for the supply of ductile iron pipe & fittings for all applications to Scottish Water. The scope shall comprise; design, manufacture, supply, works testing, delivery to site and possible offloading within this document. Ductile iron pipe and fittings must comply with BS EN 545:2006 for clean water application and BS EN 598 for waste water application. Products supplied must comply with the requirements of section 27 of the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Regulations 2001. Ductile iron pipes & fittings shall be received ready to lay and pipe diameters up to 315mm shall have a secured fixed end cap protection, with pipework 350mm dia and above shall be securely fitted with shower cap or heavy-duty polythene sheeting.
