Hand Tool and Equipment Calibration

Tender description

To appoint a suitable contractor to take ownership of all Irish Rail Tool and equipment calibration requirement and minor repairs for a period of three (3) years. The provision of specialised calibration services to the engineering departments within the organisation. The contract will involve calibrating (but not limited to): • hand tools (digital multi-meters, torque wrenches and dynamometers etc.); • electrical test equipment (force gauges, infra-red thermometers and oscilloscopes etc.); • precision measurement equipment (dial indicators, digital callipers and feeler Gauges etc.); • railway track tools (P&C track gauges, side wear gauges, cant gauges, platform gauges and distance measurement wheels etc.) and pressure gauges.
