<p>SUBMISSION DEADLINE - MIDDAY 07/07/2021</p> <p>Context and Strategic Fit: The WECA Employment and Skills Plan (E&amp;SP) requires the delivery of a number of strategic activities to successfully achieve the agreed regional aims and objectives. These activities require both the delivery of specific provision, alongside ensuring the necessary physical assets (general and specialist) are in place within the Post-16 estate to house and support this provision. With that in mind there are two key E&amp;SP activities which are of particular relevance in this context: Work Towards a More Integrated Regional Skills Function: To include intelligence, evidence-based commissioning, co-ordination of provision and informed decision-making. Infrastructure to Connect People to Employment and Skills Opportunities: Align plans to ensure employment and skills opportunities are supported by infrastructure that links people to opportunities.
