Tender description

To appoint a suitable contractor to take ownership of all Irish Rail Tool & Equipment Calibration Requirement and Minor Repairs for a period of three (3) years. The provision of specialised calibration services to the engineering departments within the organisation. The contract will involve calibrating (but not limited to) Hand Tools (Digital Multi-Meters, Torque Wrenches and Dynamometers etc.); Electrical Test Equipment (Force Gauges, Infra-Red Thermometers and Oscilloscopes etc.); Precision Measurement Equipment (Dial Indicators, Digital Callipers and Feeler Gauges etc.); Railway Track Tools (P&C Track Gauges, Side Wear Gauges, Cant Gauges, Platform Gauges and Distance Measurement Wheels etc.) and Pressure Gauges.
