Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Passenger Transport Services in Neath Port Talbot

Tender description

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council are seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Passenger Transport Services in Neath Port Talbot County Borough and surrounding areas. Once established, it is anticipated that the DPS will run for an initial period of 10 years (with an option to extend for a further period of up to 5 years). All Operators established on the DPS will be invited to participate in mini-competitions during the duration of the DPS providing they continually meet the selection criteria. Lot 1: This procurement exercise involves establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to facilitate the provision of passenger transport services within or outside the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot for the following: - Home to School / College Transport (including Mainstream Education, Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Social Services (Adult & Children) and School Activities. - Local Bus / Taxi Services (Flexible, Demand Responsive and Park & Ride). Types of vehicles required include Licensed Private Hire vehicles, Hackney Carriage vehicles and/or Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCVs) including the capability, where specified, of carrying a combination of passengers and wheelchairs, and to provide disabled access and including, where specified, the provision of a passenger assistant.
