Tender description

The University is look for a service provider to provide a dedicated, same day, dangerous goods transport service to transport radioactive pharmaceuticals in type A transport containers using ADR (“Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route”) approved vehicles from PETIC to PET scanning facilities and academic institutions around mainland Great Britain in compliance with both the Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act and the Ionising Radiation Regulations (2017). This framework is for 2 years with an option to extend of a further 2 1-year extension making it a maximum of 4 years. (2 +1 + 1). The estimate total value is £750,000 to £1,000,000 over the lifetime of the framework.
