Supply & Construction of a Special Cruyff Court at Ysgol Hendrefelin

Tenders are invited for the construction of a 30 x 20 metre ‘Special Cruyff Court’ (a type of ball Court or Multi – Use- Games- Area) complete with four lane perimeter wheelchair/cycle slalom track. The basic design of the Court must follow the Specification as stipulated by the grant giver ‘The Cruyff Foundation’. The Court is, in its design, especially adapted for use by those that suffer physical and mental impairment. The Court will allow children and young people educated at Ysgol Hendrefelin and Ysgol Maes y Coed to participate in sport and physical activity to the same degree as their Mainstream peers. This is a one off, turnkey project where the Contractor is expected to provide the complete product ready for immediate use. The project is to be completed (inception to Practical Completion) within six weeks and the work to commence within the school Summer Holidays 2021. The construction of the Special Cruyff Court is being part funded by Sport Wales and the Cruyff Foundation.
