Modification & Refurbishment of First MTR South Western Trains Limited Class 158 and 159 Train Fleet

First MTR South Western Trains Limited are seeking expressions of interest for the modification and refresh of its Class 158 and Class 159 fleet. This fleet consists of the following vehicles: Fleet Type Number of Units - Vehicles 158 10 x Cl158/8 - 20 159 22 x Cl159/0 - 66 159 8 x Cl159/1 - 24 The refresh programme will start in early 2022, with a completion date of no later than 31st March 2023. This project shall be carried out as a turnkey solution, with the scope of work including; engineering design, project management, parts supply, installation, logistics and approvals. The modification and refresh of these Units will be carried out off-site at the Supplier's location. The Supplier must have a stringent in-house quality control system and a thorough competence management system.
