<p>Somerset West and Taunton Council&rsquo;s Inward Investment service is the focal point for any new business coming into the District. It also supports the growth of existing businesses already based here. It works across Council departments to achieve these aims, as well as with local agents and developers in maintaining local market intelligence and signposting to further business support as appropriate. The Economic Development Team of the Authority is seeking a Marketing and Communications Partner to work with the Inward Investment Service to put in place a two-year Marketing and Communications plan to support placemaking with local partners and promote the area to potential business investors. The work also requires elements of stakeholder engagement to refresh local intelligence and the creation of content for the plan, in the form of articles of investor interest and sector propositions &amp; pitches for use in the Council&rsquo;s communications with the business community. This is a twelve-month contract. The ambition is for work to begin by 1 July 2021, with the plan created within 6 months and delivery elements of the work completed by 30 June 2022.</p> Keywords: Marketing, Communication, Inward Investment
