Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board invites tenderers for the supply and delivery of School Meals to schools/programmes under their remit. There are 11 lots in this tender. Tenderers can make submissions for a maximum of five (5) lots. The contracts will be offered for the initial term of Twelve (12) months with the option to extend the term for a period of up to Twelve (12) months with a maximum of Three (3) such extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to availability of funding and satisfactory performance of service providers. The closing date for receipt of submissions is Wednesday 12th May at 12 noon. Please note that the same documents can be used for each lot,but each lot must be applied for separately. Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of School Meals to Tyndall College, Kilkenny Road, Carlow KCETB invites tenders, for the supply of school meals and other various non-school meals catering to Tyndall College, Carlow for a period of 12 months with the option to extend the term for a period or periods of up to twelve (12) months with a maximum of three (3) such extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority's obligations at law. Funding is provided for School Meals (Local projects) Scheme through the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. Funding is allocated on a school year basis and must be applied for each year. There is no automatic entitlement to funding and all applications are considered on the available budget for the Scheme. Whilst this competition is being run for a specific period, it is entirely dependent on the aforementioned funding, and Kilkenny and Carlow ETB reserve the right to increase or decrease the level of catering required depending on funding or cancel the contract in the event that funding is no longer forthcoming.
