Killeen Farmhouse Cheese are seeking quotations for an Automatic Flow Pasteuriser for their Cheese Making production facility. Specification attached. Killeen Farmhouse Cheese are in existence over 17 years and are based in Killeen, Portumna, Co. Galway, Ireland. Over the years, the Promoter has actually bought a new farm, relocated there and increased production and took on staff. They expanded from 100 goats and no cheese-making to 210 milking goats and the annual production and sale of 28,000 kgs of cheese. Most of the cheese that is produced at Killeen is a Gouda style cheese. The size is around 5kg per wheel and is available in plain goat, goat with fenugreek, cow, cow with cumin, cow with basil & garlic, and Kilmora. Kilmora is a Massdam style cheese with big holes. There is a small bit of milk used to produce a raw milk cheddar. The Kilmora cheese is very popular.
